Quek, Hin is currently working full-time as an Area Sales Executive at OOMMI Probiotics. Prior to this, he was a Food & Beverage Server at Colony Restaurant, at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore from October, 2018 to October 2022. He was also cross-trained as a Public Area Attendant with the housekeeping department, and as Pool Butler with the Spa & Fitness Center.
Quek, Hin holds a Bachelor of Arts with Second Class Honors (Lower Division) in Business with Tourism Management degree from Northumbria University, United Kingdom.
Quek, Hin is Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 certified since November 2022.

Quek, Hin was an active leader and Board Member in the college community and has served as the Secretary of the Academic Support Club - Pasadena City College from January 2015 to August 2016, and also as Inter-Club Council Representative of the Pasadena City College Global Club from May 2015 to August 2016. Quek, Hin also has worked on campus as a Student Ambassador for the college Outreach department from August 2014 to September 2015, and also as an International Student orientation I-Jam Tutor from July 2013 to August 2013.

For over ten years, Quek, Hin has specialized in building customer loyalty for a wide range of employers: World renown theme parks - Disneyland Resort and Knott's Berry Farm, Hotel Reservations at the Singapore Changi Airport, hotels such as the now defunct Sha Villa, restaurants such as Rosette and Petals, and the events management organization of Carrey Hill Events. Quek, Hin likes coordinating every detail of special events, delivering memorable food service experiences, and finding the perfect vacation experience for all guests.
As a matter of fact, Quek, Hin strived hard for the extremely competitive internship for students worldwide and managed to finally qualify for the 2016 Fall Advantage Disney College Program after three attempts, where Quek, Hin worked as a Food Service Worker at the Hungry Bear Restaurant from June 2016 to January 2017 as part of his Curricular Practical Training in order to qualify for the award of the Associate Degree in Hospitality Management. Interning at The Walt Disney Company has taught Quek, Hin that surviving any probation in any position is possible as few companies confirm your position after a period of four months while adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Upon graduation, Quek, Hin subsequently immediately applied for Optional Practical Training and was granted 10 months of work authorization in the United States of America. Quek, Hin then went on to work at Knott's Berry Farm as a Gate Attendant at the Guest Services Department for six months where he spent the summer of 2017 and the entire duration of the Knott's Scary Farm before moving back to the Disneyland Resort's Paradise Garden Grill as Food Service Worker at the Disneyland California Adventure Park for the remaining four months of work permission.
Quek, Hin's hospitality experience ensures that he is skilled in driving in Southern California and Nevada, social media, public speaking, banquets, catering, customer satisfaction and service, front desk operations, event management, fine dining, food and beverage service, hospitality management, hotel management, restaurant management, menu development, basic website design for restaurants and the personal website with drag-and-drop feature called Weebly.com, computerized hotel booking systems, payment processing, and hospitality administration. Quek, Hin is also a team-builder and leader with experience in supervising , training, mentoring, and molding teams focused on quality service and safety, flawless presentation, and cost containment.
Originating from the Republic of Singapore, Quek, Hin graduated from Shatec Institutes with a Diploma in Tourism Management in November 2011 after having experience in special events operations. He is knowledgeable in all aspects of Food & Beverage and banquet operations. He also possess valuable experience in volunteering for the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games as a Protocol Assistant at the Archery competition venue (Kallang Field), and at the 1st Asian Youth Games Singapore 2009 as a Transport Coordinator at the Sailing competition venue (National Sailing Center).
Quek, Hin is bilingual in both English and Mandarin. He is responsible, sincere, confident and passionate about providing top-notch service in the hospitality industry. Quek, Hin was appointed to the position of Administration Executive at the Food & Beverage Managers’ Association Youth Wing of Singapore from January 2008 to June 2012.
Quek, Hin has completed his mandatory 2-year National Service for his country, the Republic of Singapore at the Singapore Armed Forces as a Security Trooper on 24 February 2012 and holds the military rank of Corporal. Quek, Hin is currently a reserve soldier, or otherwise called National Serviceman.
For Quek, Hin's contributions towards national defense, he was nominated for the 2 People's Defense Forces (2 PDF) National Serviceman (Full-Time) of The Year Award and has been awarded with a letter of recognition from 2 PDF for outstanding service and performance. Quek, Hin was also best soldier of the month for the month of July 2011 - Tengah Regional Headquarters, 8th Battalion Singapore Infantry Regiment.
